Unfortunately it has been 80 years since we had a pro tariff Republican POTUS. So all of this success is confusing to FreeTraitors. Listen, I know the score. You and your globalist ilk would be complaining either way, pay debt or rebate. Your false religion of one sided free trade has control of your pathetic soul.
Question. Since Trump made a verbal commitment to pay each American $2000 and the Supreme Court has taken up a case of the legality of a President implementing tariffs, if the Supreme Court rules against Trump, we all sue in a class action against the $2000 per person? Return LawFare is great!
Trump is trying to get the money out before the robed iackasses on the Kangaroo SCOTUS does something stupid. The means thing is a throw away to reduce flack.
I wouldn’t think an old rebel like yourself you need a list to keep track of this yankee.
I am more surprised that you know how to write a list.
the bonus of tariffs come in the form of increased worked demand as manufacturers come back to America.
anyone against this action are working against America.
Absolutely not.
Well not anti MAGA traitors just not well versed in tariffs and how we ran the entire govt on tariffs for years.
I’m against all taxes ...
Beware of strong drink. It can cause you to shoot at tax collectors ... and miss.

You are confusing the issue. The issue is where should the revenue from tariffs go. All they are is another source of federal revenue, yet even so they are dwarfed by the $1.7+ trillion revenue deficit for the year, and the $37+ trillion in federal debt. Before handing out any freebies, the extra revenue RIGHTLY should be paying down debt.
When you are as deep in debt that we are, “extra” income should pay off debt, not be spent on treats.
What does that have to do with “globalist” anything??? Zip, zilch, nada.
Modern day United States is among the wealthiest societies in the history of humanity. Low barriers to trade has been a staple of American growth -- including free trade among the states and low tariffs for international trade. The US is wealthier than its large European peers because of these low barriers to trade.
Okay. So a consumer wants a car. He identifies a Japanese car that is ideal for his needs. But Trump slaps a tariff on it and makes it unaffordable. An American car doesn’t fit his needs, so he ends up “avoiding” the tariff and doesn’t buy a car at all — even though he would strongly prefer that Japanese car. Even though our consumer has paid no tariff, he has been harmed by it since the tariff prevented him from buying the car he really wanted.
You and harm. You trying to set a narrative?
Once again, a choice has been made.
And no harm was done, neither in person or property, as the consumer still has all of his money and they, ultimately, avoided the tariff completely.
Thanks for making my point that a tariff can be avoided.
I want to publicly thank Japan, UK and China for buying the debt that Trump is taking out to give me this $2000.
Thanks to any of you who happen to be on this forum. I appreciate it.
Wah!
