Diamonds are good, but it is not easily divisible.
Well more correctly, diamonds are actually pretty easily divisible - but the value surely isn’t.
Cigarettes and chocolate are, but they get consumed. Those Yap island stone “coins” look pretty unwieldy.
Long ago in China, a “penny” was a one pound copper disk!
