“I don't trust that they'll change the rules. Rhe rules should have already been changed and they haven't done that.”
That's like Democrats last year claiming the borders couldn't be closed until the immigration laws were changed.
Took Trump just weeks to shut the borders to illegal immigration.
They will change them old rules when they get back from recess.

“The Democrats are engaging in obstruction that is unprecedented including raising objections to mundane appointments that are normally approved by acclimation - unanimous consent and voice votes for immediate confirmation. Now they are requiring the full debate and voting process on each nominee”
Yet Trump has had 161 nominees already confirmed confirmed to only 55 confirmed by the same stage last time Trump was president.
That's more than twice as many as last time.
Plus congressional Democrats are at record low approvals ratings.
Democrats are not doing great are they?

Wetting his pants over the looming AOC challenge for his US Senate seat in his next reelection campaign.
Poor guy.

Just recess the damned Senate and be done with it.

And we’re getting it hard.

The majority party gives up its power with all these 60-vote requirements.

One might argue yes. The comment didn’t depend on how the government got selected or installed.
I personally think that the comment IS a bit too broadly stated. Sometimes citizens have less choice, less say than at other times and places. Indeed, common folk have normally had little choice when it comes to those who rule over them.
