France doesn’t have free speech so this makes sense.
Because they can no longer control it. They’ve been bullying these platforms, including YouTube, for years. A UK government panel literally beside itself that Tommy Robinson was a top video on their YouTube feed. Demanding(!) that they “do something about this”.
They cucked. So did Twitter. Tommy was banned from everywhere, resorting to chat apps like Telegram. After X was bought by Musk, his account was reactivated. This can’t be tolerated!!
The line of thinking is that, unlike regular speech, ‘offensive and hateful’ comments put online don’t just disappear, they STAY UP!! Oh noes! Yes, it’s like somebody wrote something and PUBLISHED IT IN A BOOK!!!
