Why should Democrats be scared of this? It means that Republican states are going to start trending Democrat. Meanwhile that isn’t happening in Democrat states.

Wonder when the representation in the House will reflect the population losses

Each rep = 700,000

Needs to reflect increases as well. We’ll probably have another communist in White House to alter census results from 2030

Actually in states like Florida it’s getting more and more red, registered Republicans now out number Democrats in Florida by well over a million

The evidence is the people leaving blue states are the remaining are conservatives which ends up making red states more conservative and blue states even more liberal and crazy

You can never relax around liberals but right now the trends are red states are winning and getting more red

Oddly what has happened to Colorado and Texas is different. California came to Colorado and made it California years ago but it has changed. Conservatives are now fleeing California and with in a few years Colorado will be middle of the road conservative.

If they're conservative, they'll move to Texas. Leftist? Colorado.

“We have a few California escapees at our church along with a couple Washingtonians.”
I completely escaped Calif. in 1979.
I ended up in Washington state, for 20 years, which was much better, but not by a lot.
After 20 years in Washington state, I finally migrated to Hawaii.
I despise Democrats, so I only moved due to getting a better job and better home environment for my family.
Three of the bluest states with a decent climate. All I had to do was tolerate Democrat idiocy.
Life isn’t perfect.

The problem is, they take their blue voting habits with them.

If the states they went to were turning redder, it would be a non issue, but they’re not.

The dems are soiling their new nests.

Not always. Just take a look at Florida.

When Ted Cruz of Texas my senator was elected again they did a survey of California voters that had moved to Texas and voted for or against Ted Cruz. Ted Cruz won that vote decisively.

Texas welcomes conservatives from California, but if not just please stay home in Berkley with my insane brother whom I do love. Dinner is difficult with him to say the least but was pleasant. I love my brother, but abhor his politics but he has a refuge in my hone as I do his.

That really is not true. Check out the registration stats for FL and NC, not to mention PA and NJ. GA does not register by party, but it looks redder. AZ reg stats are great, too.

Most CA libs move to CO, OR and WA

It should scare conservatives. The Californicators are like a metastasizing cancer. Beware.

There are electronic billboards in Reno that say “Don’t make Nevada Like California”.

They don't move to AZ, UT or NV?

Yes, some CA libs move to NV and AZ. In NV, republicans have caught up to Dems in registration stats. That is why Trump won NV and in AZ, the republicans are zooming way ahead of Dems.

There are many CA libs moving to ID, which has turned Boise and its county, Ada, blue. However, the Rs are so far ahead statewide, it is irrelevant.

CA libs are flocking to UT, which has turned SLC blue, but again, the state is so very red, it hasn’t had much impact statewide.

However, UT should have very red US House reps and US senators. They don’t because they have open primaries.

Florida has proven this idea to be incorrect, registered Republicans now outnumber Democrats by well over a million, no Democrat holds statewide office, Republicans have super majorities in both houses of the state legislature and in the US Congress, Republicans now hold a 20-8 majority.

Republicans won Miami-Dade County in what was once a solid blue county.

If Republicans sit back and complain about all the liberals moving in, your idea will prove to be true, but if the situation is attacked like in Florida with constant voter registration drives, then red states will get more red and blue states will become increasingly insane.
