“does it work on burritos from the gas station?” Tell you friend YES! That’s why it’s nicknamed “the Burrito burner”and used on stacks of burritos on powerdown by its crew to, you know, celebrate a job well done. Burritos and beer!
Woohoo!! 🌯🌯🌯🌯🌯🌯🌯🌯🌯
I’d that thing can do tacos...

thank you autocorrect 😅
“several millions of rounds of ammunition”
The German-made rounds are about $600/each.
Ukraine makes much of the basic warfighting stuff itself.
If it could retarget them to their point of origin, that would really be something.
ACTUAL lasers w/ enough intensity to destroy would be a better choice.
Wrap the electronics in ‘Faraday cage’ foils/fabrics that can protect from microwaves (few grams of weight). $MM weapon now near useless.
Drones might use the high-speed shutters of obsolete film DSLR cameras so their electronics are only exposed for say 1/125th of a second.
I do believe the reference is to the 2023 Maui “wild” fire that refused to burn any structure whatsoever that had a blue roof.
Now, go do the Palisades fire and notice the “trail” it seems to have followed.
Interesting....thread too.
We had a physics Phd who lived in the dorm, Dave was his name. Sometimes we would have conversations about future tech, lasers, rail guns and such. His active mind had weapons ideas and also a countermeasure to every idea on the table. 50 years ago the idea of drones was around and countermeasures such as this were in the minds eye.
