We don’t know at least it’s not been made public, what would Iran be doing with a heavy water reactor unless they were developing plutonium, I think Iran has everything to build a bomb but haven’t because they are using the threat of a bomb as the deterrent.
If North Korea can build a bomb so can Iran, except Iran has access to far more resources that North Korea has in terms of money to buy whatever they need.

Yeah “recorded” history but what about the history that wasn’t recorded? Do they mean first time ever? Even then it is not as if you wouldn’t expect Iran to throw whatever they have at Israel right now.
So maybe the ancient Iranians fired these rockets at Israel too.
It seems stupid to think that Iran would have all the parts to build a nuclear bomb but then refrain from actually assembling said bomb as a threat. “Look we have all these bomb parts sitting here and you better do what we want or we will put them together!”
I think their gamble was if they built or tried to build a bomb that meant a sure-fire war with Israel or the USA, having all the parts and technology to build a bomb would allow them to continue their development, perhaps they used a surrogate to build a bomb for them.
The other thing to consider, if a rogue nation like North Korea can build a bomb and delivery system, then Iran certainly could as well, Iran had access to far more money to finance a bomb than North Korea, is it possible that Iran was financing North Korea and bombs built in North Korea could possibly be available to Iran.
I understand all this is farfetched, if Iran gets truly desperate then if they have a weapon they haven’t used so far, then it could come out if Iran is going down the drain.

In other news, Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) that launched the Sejil medium‑range ballistic missiles are now dead after Israel targeted the launch sites. This is a historic first for these missile crew members.
