What Trump probably wants with Canada is more a shared responsibility, like unified dairy boards and mineral wealth and a common defense of the north.

I forgot to mention, his other point was that Trump managed to take an election that the Conservatives had a lock on winning, and outrage the Canadian electorate so that now the liberals are going to coast to victory.

I know there are lots of Freepers who think he walks on water and always plays 4D chess, but I think the evidence shows otherwise. Sometimes he shoots off his mouth and massively screws up. Screwing up the election in Canada and costing what is basically our side in their politics the election was not so bright.
