This first round of tariffs is the opening salvo, will bring all these countries to the negotiating table to work out deals.

Trump has stated that he was gonna do these tariffs for months, other countries thought he was bluffing now they know he wasn’t.

It is painfully obvious why NOT focus solely on China. It is equally obvious why you choose to be deliberately obtuse about it. You aren’t making the brilliant point you seem to think you are posting this every time this issue is discussed.

"That is patently absurd.
You don’t launch negotiations with over 100 nations at once."

Nonsense. Trump is going to delegate authority to hundreds of teams, give instructions for negotiations and desired outcomes, and manage it like a CEO.

Nonsense?

Really?

Do you think that it is humanly possible to supervise hundreds of teams simultaneously?

When you raise your price of hotdogs, you are negotiating with millions of people, in principle.

By doing all this at once, he gets everyone to start thinking about lowering their tariffs pronto.

Pres-->Four star--->three star--->2 star--->1 star--->Full bird--->Lt Col--->Major--->Cap--->1 lt--->2 lt---> similar in enlisted. Seems there are ways and there are people that can supervise hundreds and thousands of others.

Those that cannot imagine such are usually not near the top of the supervisatory positions.

I expect him to begin taking on more and more prominent roles in speaking up about political issues as with his EGO and cash he likely thinks he is presidential material. Who is to say in this age of Democrat crazies he couldn’t be a candidate for HIGH office in 2028?

Yes I do. I have managed teams, have you?. What the hell do you think a major corporation is? It is a collection of hundreds of teams doing radically different things in pursuit of profit. It is even simpler when all these teams are essentially doing the same thing, negotiating.
