“How do you defend against any of that?”
chicken cage wire
shotguns
Drones make a lot of noise.
If you are in or near a military vehicle or person expect to be attacked.
Ask a dead Gazan about it.
Patrick needs to PULL BACK a bit and survive the war as his testimony will cause many, many, Ukrainian ‘Nationalists’ to do some HARD TIME, or even worse.
Incredible. These are anti-drone nets set up by the Russians on the road from Bakhmut to Chasov Yar.

The last bunch I’d want to tangle with are the Chechens.
I can if anyone wants to read it. I might if no wants, too.
Go for it.
Yes, that is what they nailed it with.... a shotgun.
But, but, but, the Russian propaganda reports that the Ukies have all either left Kursk province, or been encircled in a pocket there. Now the front line reporters are under attack by the Ukie drone forces. How can that be?
That's what I saw too.
Keep up the show. We need the laughs. Whatever it takes to keep Z rolling in the grift, right? Three years and still we’re infested with the Globohomo stooges. Good Grief!
FPV drones on attack, attack. Ukrainian drone operators know how to aim. FPV drones can go 200 kph and use high angle, high speed diving attacks to avoid detection and countermeasures. They do not fly low and slow where they can be easily seen, heard, and countered. They do not close, slow down, and hold a relative position to their target. Lancaster was in an unarmored truck. Real FPV drone operators would attack the engine and driver's cab up front head on or from the side.
If this were real, Ukraine drone operators would have attacked from higher altitudes, from ahead aiming for the front or sides, not by tailgating. Lancaster would never know what hit him until afterwards if he survived. The Drone was a Russian and this was staged to make it look good.
Also, the destroyed "western" vehicles have cope cages. AFU vehicles do not use cope cages because they don't work. The vehicles are Russian.
Bull $hit! “Proof”!? It took you all night long to dream up that? Disappointing.
It’s hard to judge distance from these vids. But it seemed he was shooting at that drone with the shotgun from too long of a range. Assuming it had #4 shot or something.
Say Lancaster's truck is moving at 80 km/h, a drone moving at 200 km/h has a rate of closer from behind of 120 km/h.
Let's say the gunners open fire at 100m, just because to get any chance of a hit so they don't die without firing a shot. Buckshot really isn't going to do much at 100m, too much dispersion and shot loses energy fast. It is better than not trying at all.
What that means is, the time for a drone to cover 100m at 120 km/h is 3 seconds, not the 45 seconds from the video. UA and RU drone operators aren't going to have a drone loiter in small arms range to get shot down. They will maneuver to get a better engagement.
Ukrainian and Russian drone operators aren't going to be stupid on cue for the cameras.
Yup. With a riot type shotgun.
As you know, during ww1, the Germans complained because the Americans used shotguns to clear trenches.
Used them in Vietnam also.
The 10 Ga i had, would cover 16 feet or more at 80 yards. Would it outright kill at that range? Maybe, i know the guy who borrowed it from me to deer hunt shot his buck at around 43 paces. Counted 51 separate holes in the hide after he skinned that deer.
Ithaca mag 10. 32 inch barrel. 3 and a half mag shells.
