The money went for 'subscriptions'? With fewer than 10 people in that department? My question is what did they tell their advertisers? Did Politico take the dirty money then turn around and act like they just signed up 80,000 new readers?

Eyes on is what they sell their advertisers and they lied?

That's a big part of this graft story... It's NOT just the USAid bought them off or that they accepted the bribe and pretended it wasn't a bribe - it's also did they do a con job on their advertisers.
