Libs won’t (using today’s definition of Liberals), but a lot of Democrat voters will, probably half of them.
I’ve reached the point of thinking that the Democrats may be forced to split into 2 (or more parties), as there has to be 10s of millions of people who want to take on Trump from a populist angle - in other words, agree with him on many issues (men playing girls sports, immigration to at least the extent of deporting felons), but then appeal to mainstream Democrat voters on issues that they support (gun control, but at a ‘reasonable’ level, abortion, but not infanticide, a secured border, but not mass deportations of productive Illegals).
The way Bill Clinton governed might be their model, or perhaps a bit right of that. Right now, Trump has that ENTIRE FIELD to himself and could easily WIPE OUT the Democrat Party in upcoming elections, as things stand today.
The only other option for their survival is for the entire Democrat Party to move to the right...but I’m not sure they can even do that and maintain any credibility.
And no, hiring a better sharpshooter won’t work, as Vance will just continue in Trump’s footsteps.

I’ve heard that thrown around recently. The thought that the left might be diluted is good but, as my sister pointed out, there are some GOP voters who aren’t truly MAGA who most likely would join the more conservative faction of the new party.
Hard to say. If the RATs keep doing what they’re doing, and not reading the room as to what Americans want and don’t want, they’ll annihilate themselves via suicide. And I’m comfortable with that.
