Yeah - the late local newscasts the past nights were hilarious. One channel had NO national news segment. NONE. They spent it on local black history month human interest stories. Rather positive actually, not the usual victim grousing. The other channel led off with, though the tariffs are now paused, WHAT WOULD IT BE LIKE WITH THE TARIFFS. On the one hand, it was being lazy on their part, running with something anyway that was set to air before circumstances changed, and not missing an opportunity to push fear porn on how orange hitler man was creating chaos across the world. Tons of constantly breaking news pretty well every hour on the hour, just pick something, but no, either come up with something harsh and uncomplimentary or ignore it all completely.
