This people of color thing...
We are ALL people of color. Think about it, there are no WHITE people. The color white is like a piece of paper white. When was the last time you saw anyone whose skin was as white as a piece of paper? Pink, maybe but wait, pink is a COLOR so see all people of color.

When I took physics in college, we were told that the color white contains all the other colors. White light shining through a prism or a drop of water forms a rainbow showing the entire spectrum of colors.

Black is the absence of color.
