The jailers who refuse to release these prisoners should be treated like the corrupt warden in The Shawshank Redemption, arresting the complicit jailers and compelling the warden to commit suicide. Then the Justice Department needs to investigate and prosecute Capitol and DC city police who beat up demonstrators and prison guards who tortured and abused prisoners. Biden pardoned the officer who killed Ashli Babbitt, but not the officer who may have beaten another woman to death. Finally, the judges and prosecutors who violated the civil rights of the arrested people must be investigated and indicted.
