Compare that with the treatment of George W. Bush and the Hurricane Katrina relief efforts. You would have thought that he had personally ordered the hurricane to hit New Orleans.

The problem for the lefties in the LA fires is that there is no Republican anywhere to whom they can credibly assign responsibility. This is entirely a Democrat crap-show. In the Katrina relief, the lefties could bypass state Democrat officials and pass the buck to Dubya.

Karen Bass said that when the fires are out, there will be a full review of policies and procedures ,and a review of what went right and what went wrong.

I’m sure that makes everyone feel better doesn’t it. They’re going to set up some sort of committee to study everything after the disaster. Sarcasm.....

1. Require every town to institute a Firewise program that requires every homeowner and business to remove all flammable brush and low hanging branches from their property. ENFORCE IT!

2. The state should give out grazing permits. Libs say cow farts produce climate change, well not as much as these wildfires.

3 Build sufficient reservoirs to make water available. Build back the dams that have been destroyed.

This is just a start, much more can be done.
