I think the big shock on the left is that they again felt like in 2016 that the media was telling them the truth and Kamala was a lock and this was the end of Trump finally. The few on the left and in the media who maybe saw things unfolding as they did were as usual excoriated and dismissed. That’s what happens in an echo chamber.

You’re right. I absolutely hate how the Left has driven a huge wedge into the heart of this country. My own wife and daughter will question everything Trump does now for the next 4 years. They get all their info from moderates or left-wing sources without even TRYING to fact-check on their own . They’ll just blindly accept whatever they read or hear.
