Many times in the past: dumping money into a community costs money, but it benefits the community and thereby generates tax receipts over the long run. Of course, the long run can be very long indeed. No methodology is offered to prove the theory, and contrary variables such as inflating the cost of housing by giving free money $25k down payments, and the effect of unqualified purchasers defaulting on their loans, is definitely not factored in. It’s bogus economics, so you might as well have it explained in gibberish as she did
If I get what she’s TRYING to say because who can actually follow her crap (by design?) It’s that every proposal is an investment, pay someone’s tuition, investment, pay for someone’s house, investment! Btw, how is the investment returned on giving someone a house, property taxes!
