The Democrats declared the Republicans were the war party. Actually Democrats were far more likely to start, expand or generally muck up things that led to war.

Democrats abandoned average Americans far before you think. Democrats put the frog on to cook on where they are now a long time ago. The frog was simmering before the 1990s and just now approaching boil.

I was in college during the 1970s and registered as a Democrat. I am lucky that some very bright people educated me about reality in time for me to cast my first vote for President for Reagan.

You made some good points but need to look further back. Much further back.

Yes, the trouble has been going on a long time. I’m reading Blacklisted By History by M. Stanton Evans about Senator Joseph McCarthy. What the Democrats did to him made me so mad I had to put the book down for a while.

But today both parties have become something else, & they work together to the detriment of the country. This writer did make some interesting points.

Great, instructive, essay. I’ve forwarded it to a friend and saved it in my “well said” directory.

The best analysis of how we got here that I have ever seen. Unfortunately, all of the evil things he gas pointed out ARE the fuse that has been lit on the social atomic bomb that is going to blow the nation up. The solution is for a huge number of these evil pepple go be prosecuted and/or outright kicked out of the country. The ONLY way that will happen is a civil war. China has been behind a huge part of this. It is just waiting for a civil war here so it can step in and take over.

I do not think a civil war here would change China's inability or increase their desire to invade North America. Your supposition, that a civil war here means China invades North America, is preposterous.

He was right to call BS on the Paris accords, not because the idea of the accords was off but because of the unfair burden it put on the US.

I disagree with the above and it set off my virtue signaling detectors. The idea itself is off, man-made global warming is HOAX. Trump needed to call BS on the hoax itself.

I don’t appreciate your tone. Let’s watch and see what happens.

Some people truly believe that the environment is in danger. Too much lamestream media nonsense. It’s hard to talk them out of the fact that it’s actually a Marxist strategy to destroy our property rights. I have relatively sane friends who don’t vote Republican because they don’t think they’ll take care of the environment.

I blame the Clintons for what we see today. They scoured those FBI files looking for ways to control politicians.

Now the current climate is such that it encourages pols to be corrupt specifically so that they can be controlled and then it's all good as long as they play ball.

The way our supposed side of the aisle treated President Trump makes me hate them forever. Too many to name.

My current reps suck so bad they are playing ball instead of representing me so screw them. I'll vote for Trump but down ticket can foad.

I very much agree. Clinton politics, and by that I mean Hillary, is blackmail politics. If anyone thinks she sat on those FBI files and didn’t use them to grow the blackmail list and gain control of the DC Swamp - well, they’re nuts or they’re lying to you.

This is what the Uniparty is. If RINOs weren’t sellout whores before, they’re owned, now, by expansion of those files.

Trump didn’t have a chance in hell, that first term. Mitch McConnell was a sellout. At least his sister-in-law has paid the price, but Mitch is OWNED. State Governors, too - Kemp is dirtier than hell, so now the Peach State has 2 ‘Rats in the Senate.

I honestly don’t know if Trump can do anything in a 2nd term, but he’s the only game in town.

Our election was blatantly stolen every bit as bad as Venezuelans today because our supposed side did as they were instructed (NOTHING!) and I have very little hope for 2024.

If Trump can overcome the cheat I believe he is now 100% free from naivety and will be no nonsense and fearless and off the leash which will be magnificent should he, God willing, get the chance.

Hoping and praying.
