Was the case dismissed with prejudice so the government cannot refile it?
Any word from Barnaby Jones?
The basis of the dismissal was that the process for appointing a Special Counsel was unconstitutional.
The Special Counsel who prosecuted Hunter Biden was appointed through the same process.
If Cannon’s decision stands, wouldn’t it mean that the case against Hunter Biden must also be dismissed?

Yes, the dismissal can be appealed, and certainly will be.
If Cannon’s order stands, there will be three possibilities:
1) As you suggest, go through a different appointment process for a new Special Counsel (who could be Jack Smith).
2) Dispense with the Special Counsel and bring a prosecution the way most criminal cases are handled, by ordinary lawyers in the office of the District Attorney.
3) Drop the whole thing.
I have no idea which is most likely.
I can be appealed to 11th circuit federal court of appeals. It will take a long time to recharge, say next Spring or so. Trump can pardon himself before the “new” fake trial.
Complicated by the tampering of the evidence.
