I had heard that. But in the last couple of weeks I had read that the MRI process had progressed.
It’s been a few years since I was on “the front lines” of that. Most of the cases I dealt with were very early onset (55 yr old) or elderly vascular, run of the mill, dementia.
I happily stand corrected.

It’d be great if there were an actual physical test of any sort for dementias.
The cognitive behavioral tests are pretty good.
I’ve seen Alzheimer’s close up, relatively early onset with slow but steady progression over a couple decades.
There is video of it. I saw it during the election.
Seems to have gone the way of the memory hole.
To my mind the movement disorder has come later than the obvious age-related dementia disorder.
I consider neurodegenerative disorders to be be very broad in etiology and symptomatology.
Same for something like schizophrenia.
