Adobe has been evil personified for a long, long time. The only good thing Adobe ever did was publish the PDF document format. Of course, they tried to restrict how you could produce them for a long time. I print PDF copies of most of my bills. Love it.
I can sort of function in GIMP.
Some Youtube and some trial and error.
Our communist masters have absolutely no limits to the tyrannical elimination of the last few vestiges of formerly Constitutionally-guaranteed freedoms & liberty that the American serfs enjoy...
The hubris of these communist tyrants is matched only by the indolence and meekness of the current, well-indoctrinated American serfs...
There is no end in sight...
The tenacity of our tyrannical communist rulers in imposing more & more tyranny is unmatched by those seeking (supposedly) to recover our former Constitutional freedoms & liberties...
Why would the ChiComs & NorKs do this?
My first cnc machine still had a punch tape to feed code. Of course I upgraded it but the technology was fascinating to me. 1000 lbs of relays and electronics replaced with a cheapo desktop and a few motor controls the size of a coffee cup.
And that’s why I am not going past Acrobat Pro 2017.
You’re taking your cues from a serial killer? Is this a joke?
I've dabbled in it. I would just like to be able to cut out an image and paste it over a background, but can't figure it out.
You might want to look into InkScape as an alternative. It's a FOSS version of Adobe Illustrator, but with better bitmap image integration.
Not a joke. If you read and understand his theories, there’s a certain clarity in his argument. Society has gotten too bureaucractic with faceless government and private businesses dictating the terms of what the individual are allowed. This article is a small example of what he was talking about about.
Was his reaction sound? That’s debatable but the fact that he described the world we are in is not.
We are definitely not as free as our forebears and must answer to the most petty dictators from the HOAs to zoning commissions to property taxes that eliminate the very ideal of private property.
The Unabomber didn’t specifically name some of these but the basic ideal holds still.
My guess is that this is not so much about traditional personal image or document creation, but AI. Since Adobe is now including AI features that are run remotely on their servers they want to control and censor the content created on those servers. Especially AI content being generated for partisan political purposes.
