Who can afford it? You can even get out of the “greasy spoon” diners for under $40. Even the midrange Mexican joints are charging near $25 for a burrito. It use to be cheaper for me to eat out but not anymore.

I have to admit to voting for both Bush presidents, twice each, and I’ve regretted those votes ever since.

I think they sell at or below cost. A pizza combo for $2.50 or a hot dog combo for $1.50 is crazy cheap.
Went to a Subway shop at 12:30 today and I was the only customer. The $5 sub is now $10.

My first thought about people not being able to afford eating out was that they will start eating more healthy at home. Maybe, unless they buy frozen food or prepackaged dishes.
That frozen food aisle always seems to be a lot more popular than the fruits and vegetables.
