Yep.
Say what you want about FDR. But he was a darn good wartime president. As you noted, those Nazi saboteurs were executed soon after they were captured. FDR didn’t fool around. He wanted a complete victory over our enemies. And he got it.
Contrast that with our recent leaders. Muslim terrorists have been sitting in Guantanamo Bay for many years. Please be sure they’ve all got their prayer mats!
And the Boston marathon bombers? FDR would have hanged them both long ago. Yet they are live today, getting their three hots and a cot. When we do react, we react half-heartedly, like confused children.

The drug cartels are already doing that now. There are wooded areas in many states where you just don’t want to go alone. It is a mistake to think foreign agents would be any less ruthless.
