If a professor does not do his job, don’t pay him. If he uses his position to threaten or harm students who don’t agree with his politics, then fire him.
That isn’t part of their teaching contract, and should be fired immediately.
Another graphic example of why TENURE needs to be eliminated. Employees who have absolutely no fear of any kind of discipline are free to wreck everything in support of their fantasies.

The students’ (and parents’) ire is rightly directed at the individual professors.
As in a class-action lawsuit.

I would file a class action lawsuit naming every professor involved and UNC with every violation imaginable. Let’s see how quickly UNC reacts to these “professors” denying their students their rights.

Tuition is paid, classes taken, students graded, and students expect the school to have those grades processed. Sounds like a contract that the non-protesters should expect to be fulfilled.
