I've known Bill for years. Volunteered on many of his campaigns, both State and Federal.
Brevard County, one of the last conservative holdouts on Florida's east coast.
Bill's been a rock solid conservative House vote.
Remember it was Posey on the House floor when he closed his remarks with
"Let's Go Brandon".
Spoke with Bill briefly one month ago.
We discussed Buck bailing from the House before his term was complete.
Posey was in disbelief of Buck's decision.
My guess Posey's health concerns have re-emerged.
Yes, the primary is still pending. Florida held its presidential primary already but it’s holding a separate primary for all other races this year on August 20th
Getting Paul Ryan out would be a wonderful change.
I would hope all these Rinos figure they’re going to get primaried.
I was dismayed when I saw about his retirement! I haven't contributed $ many times but I keep an eye on his record. When I saw he didn't vote for that $100 billion borrow-and-give-it-away bill a week ago, especially to Ukraine, especially with no border changes, I put that name aside for a modest contribution first of May. 🙁 Then I got his announcement. 78 years old... I can really sympathize with his decision. 🤷 Walking up to the mail box is a chore for me.

It isn't even that complicated... if the 'Rats can't cheat enough and Trump wins in November, a Dem House can simply reject the election outcome! Chuck Schumer set the new rules when he refused to do his constitutional duty and hold an impeachment trial for Mayorkas -- Mayorkas❗ who committed crimes that have severely injured and even killed Americans! The Dem handwriting is on the wall. 😬
