Never seen it
Hollywood has been shaping the public’s perception.
The female warrior, beating up the bad guys etc. goes back to the 70s.
The Pretender (TV Series 1996–2000) had a female Ranger, there were female SEALs and ex-SEALs like the babysitter in a Vin Diesel movie, armor clad warrior Maid Marian in Robin Hood.
GI Jane is extremely powerful and long lasting imagery, and then Hollywood supports that with casually working in countless supporting and reinforcing imagery into movies and TV shows until it becomes taken for granted, the modern 30 and 40 year old military and politicians grew up in that world and suffer some of the acceptance that it was meant to create.
same
People in my office were nutso for that show. I didn’t watch it when it came out. I scanned the carousel on whatever streamer it’s on and it looks like they have over a dozen seasons! Plus the spinoff shows.
I started to binge some of it but every season was the same: Hide, someone new joins the group, find a good camp and fortify it , grow food there, someone dies, kill some zombies, camp goes bad for whatever reason, zombies invade the camp, run and hide again. Then find another person and another good place to camp. After a few seasons of that it got tiresome but I guess it was or is a top show the keep making new season.
I liked the chick wit the sumurai swords and the chains.
Nope. Not for years, I am tired of it.
No. The whole idea that zombies can exist is an occult idea, a very old occult idea. Wrapping it in a modern technological concept does not change it.
I guess. I don’t see it that way. How about 28 Days later?
no
The Couch Potato Dead...
Yes.
I gave up watching that show after year two. All it turned out to be is a rinse and repeat program.
Same thing. The inspiration for 28 days later was George A. Romero’s Night of the Living Dead film series.
Bringing him back at this point is kind of fruitless as I have been absent from the show for so long I have no idea what is going on.
That was when hubby left. I stayed until Rick left. Not coming back.
I loved the original series. Have not watched any of the sequels so far.
Still YT keeps popping this up in my suggested column (at least its funny)

I stopped watching TV years ago. No idea what’s out there today, not that I give a rat’s rectum.
I enjoyed it until the homosexual male on male kiss in...maybe Season 3? As per my personal policy, turned it off, never watched it again. Just like the show “Lost”. Same thing. I have now learned my lesson and don’t watch any of it.
I watched the original for maybe eight seasons. After that I got bored.
Fear The Walking Dead was pretty decent.
The Walking Dead video game was actually really good, and centers on a character not affiliated with the core group from the TV series, so you’re getting a different view of, “Black Summer” when it happens.
Which reminds me... The series, “Black Summer” is phenomenal.
No but I still watch the walking brain dead President almost every day.
I quit after the first season. After that it was just ridiculous soap opera with zombies.
Z nation was good fun though. It was purposely stupid but very funny.
