The camera and other tech staff are usually conservative.
Think about it. One journalist in 33 is a Republican. And one wonders why the nation is divided!
My next door neighbor in Atlanta was employed by CNN at the time, and had worked at a number of large market tv stations before CNN. This person (a conservative) indicated that any indication you were less than left leaning resulted in either not being hired, left to wither on the vine, or just terminated. Complete intolerance of any view except the “enlightened “ one, and this was true at every stop this person had made.

tending to agree on this observation however there are two bright spots in this ...one is that you ALWAYS know it’s gonna be bullqwap and two, when the proverbial squirrel does find an acorn every now and then, the article really stands out.just my 2.

The best professors I had in college were the one I had no idea of their political leanings.
From my perspective, both conservatives and liberals want news from those who espouse the same beliefs. Sort of groupthink, echo chamber type news. 1A on NPR used to be a good show when Joshua Johnson was the host. Since he left, almost every guest is center-left or left leaning. Listened to the Friday News Roundup last Friday and was sad - little sober analysis, just lots of red meat.
Why - because center-left and left thinking people are the primary donors to NPR. 1A has really given up any pretence of fact-based, objective discussions.
Tough to listen to.
Conservatives need not apply. Some are able to sneak in but eventually they will be found out and usually "run out of town" so to speak. Or if they can be tamed and neutered, they "may" be allowed to hang around.
The Left has ruthlessly seized total control of our press, our education systems, and our entertainment. This is how they are able to indoctrinate and control our youth. It's all right in the communist handbooks for those who care to read them.
All conservatives can do is have hat in hand and beg admittance for the very few slots available to them.
It's tough medicine to swallow but it's true. Conservatives are typically not fighters but "go along to get along" type folks. Leftists on the other hand are bullies. They are loud and in your face. They fight for keeps. No matter how small the battle, they never stop until they get their way. And they stick together like angry bees in a hive.
Old news.
They know they can keep doing it because we are too addicted to their leftist propaganda posing as entertainment to do anything as simple as cancelling our TV subscriptions.
Not all of us, but they know who they are.
Everyone knows it is less than half a percent!
They are counting RINOs as Republicans.
