As crazy as these things might sound, nothing is off the table when it comes to these people.
A false flag attack or two on our Navy, perhaps combined with a terrorist attack or two inside the USA by Iranian agents and you will have a major war on your hands.
Having been in the persian gulf you know that Iran has 3 or 4 targets that are worth destroying and the gulf states are target rich. The perceived risk is the gulf states, while iran needs to export 75% of its oil production to feed its problems due to lack of western credit over decades.
It would take at least a year to bring the USS New Jersey back into service. And that is exactly what is needed. Should have kept it as a Cat B reserve ship when a big stick is needed.

There is no evidence any cyber attack has done anything at all to Iran gas stations. Someone makes up a story and posts it and people run with it. Show videos of Iranian long lines, dated now, and then prove those were not bogus.
There is no evidence any Houthi drones are targeting American ships. As best I know, they are targeting tankers and cargo.
They can also be jammed unless they are inertially guided, which seems unlikely given that tankers and cargo move and pre-loading a latitude/longitude for targeting will fail.
As for shooting them down, you do realize this is a bunch of guys with M16s? There is no magic guidance against a tiny target with no radar signature.
Europe only needs to be saved from the DC globohomo/neocon alliance. Just ask the Ukes. They’ve watched NATO ineptitude totally destroy Ukraine. The Russians have zero interest in any of the decadent west. The Russians only want the warmongers in DC to leave them alone.
