Revolution would follow any crackdown. The power of the Left is like an egg, once the hard shell breaks its gone. What happened in the French REvolution when the soldiers went to stop the mob—the soldiers joined the mob! Then this really got fun. “Citizen” will not take it for much longer.
They are horrifically outgunned and outnumbered. They won’t go that route.

The first country that successfully regains its sovereignty and returns power to the people, that energy will sweep the world.
It will mirror the fall of the Berlin Wall.
I believe nations are sharing resources far beyond mere intelligence; it wouldn’t surprise me if nations booster their own riot squads with foreign “help”.
A revolt in a single nation will be put out; globalists will use whatever resources they need to ensure that. However if multiple nations are undergoing crisis... that would introduce problems.
Crack down hard on one nation’s population and the other will realize they are next. There would be escalation.
Try to crack down on both revolting populations and that leaves them vulnerable to a 3rd country falling into crisis.
I think the globalists realize this and are desperate to contain any revolt to 1 nation at a time.
She missed the obvious -- the pent-up DEMAND from people who rode out the Great Recession nearly broke, who swore to starve the Beast through demand destruction, and simply wait for brighter shores. And it worked. 8 years of not buying a car, not investing in your snowbird retreat. And you can trace the sudden paradigm shift to Deus Ex Trump.

But I wonder if the “Overton Window” has moved.

You are correct. There isn’t going to be an election in Nov 2024. The whole country has to be cleaned up first. We are likely looking at a temporary form of governance while that happens. The things Trump is saying he’s going to do would never be feasible in our current political situation. He’s going to have to use the military. I’d say sometime in March.
