Friendsgiving is a Thanksgiving gathering for people who do not have family to gather with, especially for those fat from home. Like a bunch if neighbors getting together. There is nothing odd about it.

For my kids, we didn’t have any family around for, well, maybe 20 years. Thanksgiving (and often Christmas, too) with friends WAS our way of celebrating the holidays. I will never forget the hospitality of our friends. They WERE/ARE family to us. The five of us were pretty much alone, unless we were invited to celebrate with their families.
The truth? My youngest son’s best friend, whose family included us in their family celebrations every year, is now married to my niece. Well, they’ve been married for many years. They are parents to two beautiful children.
I got to blend my genetic family with my spiritual family. That’s kinda cool.
Friendsgiving can lead to many wonderful things.

Ok….the worst part is the fact that the President of the United States is a pedophile.
