When it gets bad enough, they will likely do what Russia has done - impose capital controls, special taxes and administrative requirements, that make it impossible to get their investment capital back. They have already imposed new costs and delays, but have not yet gone full Putin.
The old Chinese finger trap - easy to get in, hard to get out.
They have done a great deal of that already. China has been limiting capital repatriation for a long time.

At least 1 of the missiles impacted directly at the superstructure. That octagon shape is one of the AESA radar arrays. Another missile struck the VLS system aft of the superstructure. The stucture you see furthest to the right is what’s left of Askold’s Pantsir-M air defense system. With SCALP’s BROACH warhead, the damage inside will be even more extensive than the exterior damage suggests.
