Why include Fauci? Fauci had absolutely nothing to do with Warp Speed or developing the vaccines. Not that our brilliant jab critics actually get any facts right. But that’s what makes reading the pop-expertise fun.

Well it’s not Fauci’s first lie, is it? Amazing that you cite his claim as credible. He had nothing to do with creating Warp Speed. And he played no role in developing the vaccines.
Trump knows who presented the idea to him. It’s the same guy who went on to organize it, and who briefed him on it. It’s probably the reason why Trump pays so little attention to the opinion of conspiracy nuts. After 3 1/2 years they don’t get even the most basic facts about the program right, much less the arcane medical details.
Your link says he “appeared” to claim credit but that doesn’t matter, because he deserves no credit at all for the program, appeared or real.

BA.2.86 may be more capable of causing infection in people who have previously had COVID-19 or who have received COVID-19 vaccines.
That line's been quoted a lot, but its incredibly awkward and is (deliberately?) unclear. It claims that this current version is more capable of causing infection, but more capable than what? The previous Omicron lineages? Delta? The Original Wuhan strain? Measles? The common cold? Why in the world would the basis of comparison be so occluded?
Really makes no sense.
