You're depriving the originator of hits.
Your condemnation is ugly in its implications. P&L has a worldwide readership, and it's not possible to share information with them except by publishing articles with originating links. Thus, originators receive hits from readers living in China, Africa, Russia, NZ, AUS., Canada, and elsewhere.
This is no different than what takes place here in Free Republic, a website with a worldwide readership. Freepers post a small amount of text along with originating links. If P&L is guilty of depriving originators of hits then so is FR.
