here’s the deal - there is the legal case to worry about and defend, and there is the case in the court of public opinion. Trump has to make sure opinions about his guilt aren’t formed by media bias, pointed gov’t leaks - because he is running a political campaign. votes may very well occur before any cases wrap up with a verdict. so it’s not a simple task ahead of Trump. not.at.all.

That could be entirely true, but what is the alternative, give me something that is legal, I don’t think you can.
It’s ridiculous and not right but it doesn’t take away from the fact that it is real and Trump has to do everything in his power to defend himself, it only takes one person to stop any particular trial, however improbably that might be.
