“Democrat jury, Democrat city.”
Same as Washington D.C.
To: shadowlands1960
How strong a case was this? Obviously a politically biased jury but I wonder how politically biased they were by how blatant the evidence was.

Rats...Maoists...anarchists aren't convicted by DC juries. Or by Oregon juries.

Jury intimidation. Appeal, if legal funds are available for Ngo. I hope he has visible protection with him now and as long as he’s in that city.
To: JZelle
Backstory on this, according to Jack Poso, is that the jury was under quite a bit of intimidation.

That’s exactly what people on Twitter are saying right now... Trump doesn’t stand a chance in DC.

Did Mafia lawyers even blatantly threaten juries in court?

Maybe.
Or it could be like that case in Mississippi decades ago when the young man was lynched and the jury said they did not want to convict anyone.
Hoped we were past that as a nation; looks like we are going further in the wrong direction.
To: shadowlands1960
No doubt. If they’re still in Portland they have to be.

“Before closing statements, Judge Sinaplasai informed the court that the trial’s jurors have raised concerns about being “doxed,” and claimed that people have been trying to find out their identities.”

Oops, somehow deleted this part: I don’t see how the defense attorney’s closing argument is anything less than a threat.
