What "moderate" policies would these be?
Banning guns? Printing trillions of $$$ in free Covid cash? Filling his entire administration with Bush's JV team? Endorsing Stacey Abrams for governor? Throwing gay fiestas at his private residence?
Please, enlighten me.
Looks like the coordinated TDS attack with DeoSanctus as your foil, the attack that started the day afer the ‘22 election is an epic fail. Go away you slime balls.
I used to support him, before he became so swampy. He’s great for Florida - should consider running for the Senate after his term is over.
But as far as becoming POTUS, ever, those dreams have gone the way of Pence.
May favorite was the Atlanta homeless shelter that was the address for 1200 absentee ballots.
I don’t know how this will all shake out, but DeSantis has some points. I’m not confident he made them well, or anyone will care, but he has some points.
The 2020 election was rigged, but it was rigged in a way that had legal cover. Trump, who was president at the time and in charge of the country, had two years to fix the legal loopholes and he did nothing to stop it.
Trump knew, or should have known, what was going on with ballot harvesting in 2018. It was blindingly obvious that ballot harvesting which flipped every close seat in California was going to be rolled out anywhere it could be legally pursued, and Covid became that legal route.
Trump in 2020 railed against all the early voting and ballot harvesting operations, and then stuff happened election day. The whole lead up to November 2020 was covid restrictions and easing voting access. It was telegraphed months in advace.
If Trump embraced early voting (and why the F not in 2020 when your biggest voting base, elderly people, are terrified of dying from the covid?) he would have sailed to reelection by seven points.
Instead, he not only lost, but he let Lin Wood and Sidney Powell (who I’m pretty sure were Dem plants at this point) ensure that the Republicans lost control of the Senate.
This was own goal after own goal. I don’t care if Trump’s right about rigged elections, I care that he adjusts to the reality of what’s happening and wins. I prefer candidates who don’t lose their elections... to paraphrase a once smart person.
Yes rigging happened, but the bulk of it happened under color of the law. The Trump campaign didn’t try to compete, just like Hillary didn’t try to compete in rust belt states in 2016. Both were stupid tactics and both deserved to lose.
Trump had no control over his cabinet because of the establishment Republicans DeSantis is now in bed with. The establishment Republicans in the Senate blocked anyone that he wanted for AG or CIA or FBI director.
It's no surprise that you're one of the notorious neocons here. You're brand of Republicanism is DEAD.
Try asking without condescension. Why doncha.
Good grief.
Have Ron’s advisors gotten anything straight yet?
He could’ve cake-walked to 2028.
You’re lying about Trump having the ability to do anything.
States and their legislatures and election departments control how elections are run in each state.
Trump, as part of the federal government, have no influence on how states conduct elections, unless there are claims of civil rights violations, in which case the doj gets involved.
Almost certainly fake news because it is The New York Times.
should have thrown furniture through those windows and gone in with video, and maybe s stick. Even if cops showed, there would then be witnesses.
Now he has alienated the Republican voter base to the point where he can get into a qualifying round with Jeb Bush, John Kasich, the list goes on. The Republican money people might like the gut, but the people who vote for Republicans don't care for him anymore.
I wonder what his career plans after this term as Governor ends. Maybe early retirement.
Well put. He is rat collaborator. Ron didn’t just stab Trump in the back he stabbed us in the back. He’s dead to me after this. Unforgivable.
>>,See you in Iowa.
Iowa? The American state Iowa? Where Trump+24?
O-tay. See you in Iowa, then.
LOL!
—> I used to support him, before he became so swampy
I’m guessing his raw ambition has just finally been revealed and political leanings exposed.
The Dominion machine strategy, which Trump used, remains unsubstantiated. 2000 Mules told part of the story. The Dirty 51 and censorship closed the steal.
Bump Stock is still banned in Florida and Red Flag laws are still legal there.
Ron, now in his second term and now with a Republican super majority hasn't done a thing about that.
The guy has destroyed a national political career. If the “unsubstantiated” Uniparty kangaroo court doesn’t get Trump, RdS might soon be toast in Florida as well. What an ass.
