First you have the super human females created by feminists for Movies and TV then you have REAL LIFE
Sometimes little guys can be the toughest. Audie Murphy was a little guy.
It would be pretty tough to be a cop in NYC. God Help them.
The theory was that even small women can become police officers. Their training and equipment will make up for lack of physical strength.
Ridiculous. Unless you want these female cops to go around shooting anyone they can’t subdue.
Little man got no respct
Alphabet people ?
They weren’t MMA .
I felt sorry for the male cop. I thought, what a useless partner he has. She'd be no help at all in dangerous situation.
See post 3.
Gee, that’s not how TV commercials and Hollywood show it.
Sorry, but I was rooting for the perp (as I suspect many here were). There are some jobs, like inner city police and hair dressing, that might just be better left to men.
That little guy eventually got cuffed, but he was still madder than a wet hen. The lady cops never did show any righteous aggression, not in their manner or in their voices.
They must have expected the perp to cooperate because they ordered him to, nice and obedient.
He was a so called Homeless man, going by appearances.
He looked dirty and grimy and unwashed. Maybe the ladycops didn’t want to get their hands tainted with his ‘icky’ sweat.
Sounds very stylish.
Yes, we can pretend that women can become men. We can pretend that all people have equal abilities. But, as you say, then there is real life. The fantasy just doesn’t get the job done. Our society indulges in too much fantasy.
That's the impression I got. They seemed pretty prissy about the whole thing and were avoiding the close, firm and aggressive contact you need to use if you're going to cuff someone who doesn't want to be cuffed.
Last time I watched a cop take down a big man who was violently resisting arrest, he basically body-slammed the guy face first into the asphalt. No more resistance after that.
Not so many years ago, when hiring Police officers the first requirement was: Do Not Lose Street Fights.
But now, they have to fulfill quotas set by race, religion and LBGQWERTY first.
Affirmative action in action;’)
Sorry, the above reply was intended for lee martell.
Yes the females had a hard time, but even after the security guy steps in, he also had a hard time-it took all three to take the guy down. Drugs can create some super-human strength. Research some stories about Kaat (spelling?) used in Somalia and elsewhere. I’m only familiar with the Somalia aspect (as I was supposed to deploy there, but thank God didn’t). Very misleading headline.
