And it reveals who has courage versus who will just go along to get along. DeSantis has certainly governed with courage in Florida, but this weak attempt to placate the very people who enabled the 2020 election theft is pathetic and a huge warning sign. It clearly looks like he’s being bankrolled by the usual suspects, and is therefore now trying to placate those RINO donors.
Disneyland tickets?.
How can anyone calling themselves a patriot look at how the administrative state has reacted to Trump, the illegal schlitt we know they’ve pulled on him, and then give them exactly what they were after by refusing to support him in 2024?
The only reason Trump “lost” the popular in 2020 was entirely because of the vote in two very corrupt states, CA and NY.

I’m hearing reports of trouble out of Kentucky during today’s elections.
—Reported “Low turnout”
—Ballot printers “jamming” in multiple places
—e-poll books “not working” in other counties…
Sound familiar??
Corrupt elections are killing our country.

First,
I absolutely think were massive fraud in the ‘20 election and DJT was cheated in multiple way
I firmly supported him both times
I admire Lindell’s patriotism, however (and understand I have significant experience in this area) I have yet to see anything credible come out of his so called cyber experts.
Dominion helping cheat? Absolutely Manipulating vote totals? Quite possible
Somehow the chinese using packet captures to modify results? It doesn’t work like that. If you have some information regarding this that disagrees I am happy to read it (nless its some q/trust the plan crap)
Think he was the best president we have had in a long time, however I don’t believe for a minute that if the democrats said “hey, we like you and want you to be president again and will make sure you win” that he wouldn’t change positions on a lot of things overnight and try to explain it’s what he always meant.
The root problem is this: thanks to actions taken between the Civil War and WWI, chief among them:
- the Santa Clara county case vis a vis the 14th amendment, wherein corporations became people (and thus more equal than actual people)
- the Federal Reserve; and
- the 17th Amendment, by effecting corruption of the Senate through statewide efforts rather than many many State house offices
The US is uncontrollably an oligarchy for the last 100+ years. While technology seems to have exacerbated this, really it’s been the means by which we can see the strings being pulled.
So: it’s not Ron’s fault per se but unless you’re in the wealth class of a Trump or a Musk nobody gets anywhere without the backing of the hyper-rich. As if drawn from Randian memes, the one thing the oligarchy can’t stand is one of their own who bucks the trend. So: “get Trump.”
I like Ron. I think he’s doing great where he is. I don’t know if he has any choice but to play foil to Trump this time. An above poster suggested Trump has some opp research to unleash. Imagine what the deep state has on him to let loose if he doesn’t do as told?
Conversely, as much as I like him, there’s zero chance these oligarchs will let DeSantis implement any MAGA if elected. He will get a weasel VP choice foisted on him (c.f. Bush Sr.) and if elected would have a solid Deep State cabinet. Think what Trump got recommended to him, but more so.
IMO the game the oligarchy wants is for us to infight until there’s either a weakened Trump or a subservient DeSantis. I say it’s time to renew Reagan’s “11th commandment” and be so supportive of both, and leveraging the Dem Mail vote playbook, that a real red wave sweeps through and confounds the oligarchy (and so encourages friends of liberty around the globe).
“Trump needs competition.”
Perhaps, but there doesn’t seem to be a single person currently active in Republican politics who is capable of competing with him. That’s not Trump’s fault.
If the Democrats had cheated on the same scale in 2016 as they did in 2020, Hillary would have won.
More people disapproved of Trump than approved of him throughout most or all of his presidency. Why is it so surprising that he couldn’t break 50% of the popular vote?
People who live in solid Republican areas don’t realize how unpopular Trump was in the populous Democrat areas.
“You honestly think he’ll have MORE support than, say, 2016?”
He had more support in 2020 than in 2016. I see no reason to think that trend won’t continue.
Pull up some video of Trump in the 80s and tell me he’s changed his positions.
Trump is leading DeSantis by 62%. That’s a long way from zero. 😆
Typical lawyer/politician answer from DeSantis. Exactly what one would expect.
Excuse me. You are aware that Trump got even more votes in 2020 than in 2016, millions more? Massive fraud put Biden in the white house not votes and not any lack of enthusiasm for Trump.
Trump received 74 million votes in the 2020 presidential election, 12 million more than he received in the 2016 election.
“You honestly think he’ll have MORE support than, say, 2016?”
He did in 2020, so there’s that.
“2016 Trump won what was important - the Electoral”
AAANNNDD ... that’s how elections work in the USA.
Free rein? He’s not a king.
“2016 Trump won what was important - the Electoral - but he lost the popular.”
What does the popular vote have to do with it? The first part of your sentence states the facts—the Electoral vote is what is important. It makes no matter how many Californians vote for the democrat. All of them can do so and it will not make any difference in the number of electoral votes they can produce for the democrat candidate. Their “D” votes are a given at this point.
The smaller states’ electoral votes is what is important. Without fraud, Trump can win those votes. He won in 2016 and would have won in 2020 if there had not been fraud.
Anyone who can read the Durham report and not realize that if they can do that, they can also create fake ballots and steal an election, isn’t really paying attention.
Excellent point.
These are the same exact party people who got in behind globalist open border Bush for 8 years.
