I suspect sarcasm.
Freerepublic is inundated with exaggerated claims of losses and gains by both sides, or should we say all sides, nearly every day.
Well, the Gulf War was close to it, wasn’t it? Now imagine Ukraine armed like Poland will be in 10 years. It would be very one-sided too even if not as one-sided as the Gulf War was.
“First war I’ve seen where all losses are on only one side - every single day.”
It is easy to see that the first two lines of the thread are:
“Ukrainian Tank losses Running Total: 486
Ukrainian Artillery losses Running Total: 260”
We discuss the war broadly on this thread everyday, despite the cheap shot ad hominem attacks that Speedy is subjected to every day, by posters with a pro-Russian or anti-Ukrainian bias.
Make something new like a thread friendly to your Russian genocidal friends.
PIF: histrionic overreaction and wouldn’t admit it.

How are the weather and soil conditions for a counteroffensive? What is the historical norm?

“The Ukrainian People’s Republic started its military offensive against Bolshevik-controlled Crimea on this day 105 years ago.
The troops under command of Petro Bolbochan took control of the peninsula in 4 days.”
(Probably need firmer ground for modern heavy armored vehicles, but we are entering the historical fighting season in the area)

Germany plans to withdraw its Patriot Missile Defense battery from Poland by June according to the Polish Press Agency.
It’s an excellent opportunity to send Ukraine another battery, just like Poland asked for initially.
“What were the outcomes of today’s Ramstein meeting:”
“1. Germany and the Netherlands provide Ukraine with more mine rollers, vehicles and fuel tanks.
2. Allies will conduct training for tankers, as well as for air defense operators (Abrams tanks will arrive in Germany in a few weeks).
3. The West handed Ukraine already more than 230 tanks and 1,500 other armored vehicles to equip 9 armored brigades.
4. A Leopard 2 Service Center will be created in Poland.
5. Ukraine received green light for cooperation with the NATO procurement agency.
6. Allies are ready to support Ukraine as long as necessary.”

“What were the outcomes of today’s Ramstein meeting:”
I guess that announced commitments from the meeting were coordinated ahead of any of the principals arriving in the room, and instead they are really discussing the future requirements, and who will pay.
It seems that Ukraine joining NATO has already become a coordinated future requirement.
The war coming home to the Great Russian elites in Moscow and St. Petersburg?

Bloomberg: Russian arms shipments to India fall through due to financial sanctions.
Russian arms shipments to India have been hindered by the increasing difficulty of finding a payment system that doesn’t violate U.S. sanctions, Bloomberg reported on April 21...
Due to U.S. sanctions against Russia, India cannot pay Moscow in dollars. Moreover, Russia will not accept rupees because of the currency’s alleged exchange volatility, according to Bloomberg. Russian rubles likely cannot be purchased at a “fair rate” by New Delhi either.

I do not have a Putin nor a Zelensky.
Two corrupt autocratic and evil men.
That is all.
Thank you.
You pimp for your Putin like the Tucker Carlson who folded like a lawn chair to Dominion on Tuesday.
—> You pimp for your Putin
Never.
I’m here to laugh at Zeepers, who are Zelensky sycophants and the best entertainment since the Paul Shanklin parodies on Rush.
That is all.
Thank you.
Tell your Tucker that he sucks for surrendering to Dominion.

I don’t watch Fox.

Yahoo reports:
“All Nato allies have agreed Ukraine will one day join the military alliance, its secretary-general Jens Stoltenberg said on Friday.
“Ukraine’s future is in the Euro-Atlantic family,” he said ahead of a meeting of the US-led Ramstein group.
“And all Nato allies have agreed that Ukraine will become a Nato member.””
