I can all but guarantee you’ll prefer Yuengling over that horrid piss water named Corona.
Of the beers mentioned I only drink Corona Extra. I will drink PBR. As of late I have been drinking micro brewery stuff. There is one outlet a 3 minute walk from my front door. They have an excellent IPA and a kickass double IPA. It’s expensive but well worth it. They being a Nevada brewery they aren’t all that woke.
Yuengling is now my favorite beer.
In Ohio... I fell in love with Little King Cream Ale
Yuengling is not one of the 10 best selling beers in America. But it does taste better than any of them.
I could cook up 10 gallons of beer in an hour. It took a week to ferment out. Stored it in old coca cola 5 gallon kegs.
I had cost down to 15¢ a glass and alcohol up to 6.5%
LOL!
.
Out west I've lived in Arizona, Oregon and Nevada.
And never saw even one bottle of Yuengling in those places in all those years.
So my un-researched answer would have to be: '26 years ago they didn't seem to.'
Now? I dunno.
Unless I can lay my hands on some Coopers Bitter.
But that's somewhat hard to come by in the US.
.
PS: The Coopers brewed in Adelaide, Australia is better than the British version. IMHO
PPS: Several times I brewed the Coopers Extra Special Bitter Ale
from the malt extract I bought in a home brew beer kit -
Hands down the best beer/ale I ever drank. But a lotta work.
I have not really noticed Pearl nor Lone Star in a while. I looked it up and it said that Pabst bought both brands a while back and the Miller brewery in Fort Worth makes them there. Ah, the headaches I remember from drinking that swill when I only had a few bucks in my pocket in college…
God bless you and thanks for the reply.
I live in Michigan but I went back to school at age 50 to increase my associates college degree. I earned an online BSN from the University of Texas and then a Masters degree as well. I have cousins and friends in the Houston (Conroe) area so consider myself an honorary Texan. :)
I am sad when a major brewery buys a smaller label and either shelves it or makes it so small batch and local that it might as well have been shelved.
I lived in Conroe from 1993-2002.
Sorry, they are owned by the parent tranny beer company InBev.
Thanks
“And many of these are Anheuser Busch brands. Let them all fail, I don’t drink tranny beer.”
Eight of the ten are AB products.
“Can’t believe the Mexican “panther piss” brands go for the trannies.”
That’s because they are owned by AB.
No mention of Icehouse or Sam Adams. Don’t think they are owned by A-B.
CHEERS!
Crying (in my beer )shame!
