That used to matter. Now, though, like it or not (I don’t), celebrity-ish people matter. It started with JFK v. Nixon on TV for all the world to see, and it’s important that a candidate be attractive in some way. Some pizzaz. It’s not fair; it’s nor right. But it is what it is.
And if you’re not a celebrity / attractive candidate, you just cheat like hell to “win”.
I announced that I will not run in 2024 already but no one noticed.
Was kinda hoping Trump would use him. Pompeo is no Pence.
For everyone who has been asking, I too have decided not to run for president in 2024.
