The only ones who have even a remote clue on losses are both sides and neither is giving accurate numbers as far as equipment is concerned oryx is probably a good baseline for both sides
The Russian numbers of 16-17000 I believe is absurd, human wave attacks against defensive positions make that unlikely however Russian mass artillery attacks even if not precise will still cause large casualties on Ukrainian side.
As I have said before the success or failure of any Ukrainian offensive will be largely depended on how the Russians react. If they break like Kharkiv then it could be very successful. If they stand and fight with coordination of artillery and air assets then any success could be limited. And pictures and videos of destroyed western equipment will be used to its fullest extent
