Perhaps pitchers adjusting. A common sequence in sports. A change is made on one side, then the other side adjusts, and so on. Lots of back and forth over the years in all sports. It will be interesting to see what happens with the new rules in baseball. My guess is that power will be a little less emphasized because stolen bases are now easier to get.
