From what I can tell from the Chaney case, the lawyers are practically all public defenders who sympathize with the government far more than their clients. They see their jobs as negotiating plea deals..
Did you ever consider going to D.C. on 1/6? Do you have any sympathy for those already attacked? If so, you may be subject to persecution. Uh, I mean prosecution. Yeah, that’s it.

Actually the week Trump called for the rally in DC I thought it was a bad idea... I thought ANTIFA and other bad actors would hijack the event to create chaos. Can’t say I’m happy to have been correct about that.
Before Hitler officially took control of Germany, he had his brown shirts in the street busting opposition heads. Once ensconced as chancellor in 1933, Hitler had access to the federal, in house, goons and thugs at the Gestapo. Before our Uniparty Junta officially took control they had BLiesM and antifa. Once ensconced in the White House they had access to their in house goons and thugs at FBI, DOJ, NSC, FISA judges.
This demonstrates the difference between one group that wants to win against another group that just wants rule of law and to be left alone. The group that plays to win will win against those that just want to be left alone. It’s like there’s a war and only one side is actually fighting. If they don’t fix the election issues: vote on election day in person with valid photo ID, on paper ballot counted by hand, the stupid party will never win another election.

Just as the desth sentence of the one man convicted of starting the Reichstag fire was overturned and reduced to life in prison - after he was beheaded. No doubt the Nazi lawyers enjoyed their sauerbraten and wine that night, having accomplished two incompatible goals.
