One of the first politicians whose sole qualification for office was a vagina!

Voted for her in 1975 and also voted for Jimmy Carter. Was in Korea when Jimmy paraded around Seoul with Park Chung Hee. I didn’t vote for Jimmy a second time. In 1979 saw Pat Schroder standing on the corner of Colfax and Colorado Blvd. with her crew. I didn’t vote for her either because of Jimmy’s handling of the Iran hostage crisis. Voted Libertarian 1979 but never again because I was pleased with Ronald Reagan.

RIP Pat Schroder I followed Rush and bought mom a can opener.

“Once upon a time, we had women in public life such as Margaret Chase Smith, Golda Meier and Margaret Thatcher who actually accomplished something positive.”

Dixie Lee Ray
Jeane Kirkpatrick
Phyllis Schlafly

And even Julia Child, who long before she was The French Chef on PBS had helped Wild Bill Donovan run the OSS.

DITTO's I loved Rush throwing salt in the wound of Pat Schroeder.

She was the first congress critter I knew that campaigned for funds $$$$ in her self declared final year of being an incumbent congress person.

I'm guessing she used that money (donations) for the purchase of the Florida property.

DemocRAT, Colorado, Pat Schroeder served in the U.S. House of Representatives from 1973 to 1997. Raked in thousands of dollars before quitting in 1997. (I'm guessing wink, wink retirement fund.) RAT, Colorado, Pat Schroeder, her career ended approx. 10 years(?) when Rush had gone national.

Republican Jennifer Dunn representing Washington State 8th congressional district. U.S. House Representative Jennifer Dunn, In office: July 17, 1997 – January 3, 1999 Raked in thousands of dollars before quitting in 2004. Jennifer Dunn announced in 2004 she would retire from Congress.

Jennifer Dunn, collapsed and died of a pulmonary embolism in 2007, in her Alexandria, Virginia, apartment.

What happen to all that money she raised??????

Answer, we can assume the son {Reagan Dunn, when he ran for: Washington State, King County; Council seat} got some; for his campaign(s).

Occupation: Engineer.

Maybe someone much smarter than me, can explain why elected people to office have fun raising $$$$ campaigns, during their last year or two in office. Hello RAT-Patsy, Hello Republican Jennifer Dunn.

I know why, they do it to save Mommy-Earth. It's such a burden for Mommy-Earth to carry the loads of cash, their just trying to lighten the load. Wink, wink.

I remember that.

I also remember seeing her outside of some ‘Rat event or another (think it was a David Brock booksigning) and her reacting to us FReepers that were there.

One of the most destructive and evil members of Congress in the modern era. Prayers for her deeply disturbed soul.

By no means an exhaustive list, we could name many, many more. But the press will never feature them for the same reason they never honor Dr. Thomas Sowell (the greatest economist alive today) on black history month while gushing endlessly over a mediocre poet like, say, Maya Angelou.
