By that time they'll be bankrupted or a court will rule the appeals moot after they were released, but allow them to refile for wrongful conviction.
They'll probably never get any justice out of the Federal courts. Even former Senator Ted Stevens was dead or almost dead before his conviction was overturned.
These judges also have no desire to learn the truth or in the application of justice and Constitutional rights.
The silence of attorneys nationwide, both practicing and in academia, who specialize in Constitutional, Evidence, and Criminal law is almost deafening. For instance, the former libertarian site, Reason.com, has not said a word regarding these unlawful prosecutions and sentencing. Although they are quick to speak out should an illegal immigrant be deported for any reason, they continue to be silent about the January 6th defendants.
Wasn’t it Andrew Weissman who was notorious for withholding exculpatory evidence?
Showing yet again that when they get caught red-handed they scream like stuck pigs. This video is irrefutable evidence that they lied through their teeth for political gain. The video exposes the stench of their rank corruption. They are without excuse and so they are going to resort to their main standby tactics of trying to bully everyone into submission. It’s all they have. They are thoroughly corrupt.
By the way, I though all this squealing about democracy they would welcome opposing thought and putting all the facts on the table. No, the issue is never the issue. The issue is always the revolution.
Post of the day re Tucker’s shows!:
“Those trials aren’t even about those political dissidents, and they don’t get the actual bill of rights applied to them because they didn’t commit serious felonies in the first place.”
“Those trials are about sending a message to everyone else in the country (or at least half of them). “Go home, be quiet, and pay your taxes”.
“Which, of course, is the exact opposite of the message they send to the anarchist terrorists who burn cities down.”
Their answer is just that, due to time constraints, only the video germane to their hearing was shown, namely, the "insurrectionist" stuff. If every "insurrectioner" prayed, petted a puppy, and donated blood earlier in the day, it makes no difference.
That's how they see it.
Incorrect. There are significant portions that are eminently germain and I am willing to bet that a lot of defense attorneys will make a lot of money proving that their respective clients suffered great injustices, particularly the QAnon shaman.
germain = germane
I get the same response of hate and derision whenever I post something.
It's almost like Twitter is nothing but a lions den of left wing lunatics....
Looks like the Elon Musk needs to have another Purging of the 'Bots.

Weissman is a scumbag. He has destroyed businesses, jobs and lives. Here for who he really is:

Some other articles:
- https://heavy.com/news/2017/10/andrew-weissman-weissman-mueller-investigation-lawyer-attorney/ (this one mentions that Weissman was in charge of the FIB Fraud Section when the government let Hitlery and Billybob off for trading Russian donations to their foundation in exchange for the Uranium One deal)
I think I am now on some sort of Left-wing Twitter hit list.

Wear it like a badge of honor.
Our enemies are lying scum bags.
Yep. That’s the guy I was thinking of, and several of the instances I remembered. I just didn’t want to attribute all that evil to the incorrect scumbag.
Haha! I was going to peg Weissman for the Ted Stevens illegal prosecution, as well, but it was two other scumbags DOJ attorneys who got caught withholding evidence. They were given a mild suspension (meanwhile, an underling young DOJ attorney committed suicide over the affair, he was so distressed).
But alas, Weissman and Mueller both had their hands in the Stevens prosecution, according to these articles from an Alaska news site:
Robert Mueller oversaw witch hunt against Sen. Ted Stevens
https://mustreadalaska.com/robert-mueller-oversaw-witch-hunt-against-ted-stevens/
and here for Weissman’s general role w/ Mueller:
“It was during this period of time under Mueller’s leadership at the FBI that Mueller first partnered with DOJ’s Andrew Weissman. Weissman had promulgated the practice of intimidating witnesses and soliciting false testimony, hiding evidence and procuring high-profile convictions, which were later overturned on appeal, but not before lives were ruined and in some cases lost. When his brutal and dishonest practices had been focused on racketeers and crime lords, no one seemed to care about his tactics.”

Perkins Coie law firm, I suspect, has employed the most of them. I believe that is where they get their training that allows them to get away with what they do. Many of them go on to be judges, so it is a big “you scratch my back, I’ll scratch yours” type of thing. (And the paper sack of money exchange is probably a 2 hour CLE credit course)
You’re absolutely right — funny how the Perkins Coie fraudster Sussman wad defended against Durham by... Sean Berkowitz, who ran the entire Enron prosecution (Weissman worked under him).

I merely pointed out how they will justify their behavior; no way do I endorse it.
The bill of rights does not pertain to misdemeanors?
