Even one out of a million is not an acceptable risk for a “vaccine” that does not provide any level of protection from contracting, becoming sick from or spreading the Fauci Flu. Anyone who is still putting their good health at risk with the “vaccine” is beyond irrationally frightened and breathtakingly ignorant; they’re simply easily manipulated fools. Oh, Cheers!

Who are you to speak for what is an acceptable risk for others based on your opinion but not substantiated fact of the vaccine.

I agree. Can you point to where I have ever advocated for masks? Oh that’s right. You can’t.

My point is that it does not make sense to take a potentially significant risk for something that does not provide a corresponding sigificant benefit; that is, this is simply a cost (potential harm to one's health)/benefit (questionable protection by the "vaccines") analysis. {I often perform such an analysis to consider the often un-asked follow-up question: "What will be the 'cost' of my decision?"; in this matter, the question being What is the "cost" of getting the "vaccine" versus not getting it?")

Although it is also true that my opinion is a generalization (that is I'm not "speaking for" anyone in particular ... only for myself from which I draw a generalization that I think is valid), it is clear to me that -- generally -- to expose oneself to the ineffective "vaccines" that are potentially dangerous -- even potentially deadly -- is, again, generally not a good idea especially for healthy people and even more especially for the young whose immune systems may be compromised by the poorly evaluated "vaccines" that clearly do not protect against catching, becoming sick from and spreading the disease which they supposedly have been developed to control. I think that for most people, to subject themselves multiple times (through "boostering") to the well-documented risks associated with the "vaccines" -- although relatively small risks -- is an "unwise" choice.

This is so clear to me that I think the widespread acceptance of the "vaccines" as a cure for the Fauci Flu is a sign of irrational fear and ignorance as most people have very likely not considered a cost/benefit analysis and instead have delegated the responsibility for their good health to politicians and unelected bureaucrats and, of course, to the self-proclaimed medical "experts" who have been wrong so very many times over the past three years.

I don’t disagree with much of what you said. Fauci is a total moron. And dangerous in my judgment. I have zero doubt he orders gain of function testing. Immoral as hell and probably due to his Napoleon complex. He has never practiced a day in his life and assumes he is god.

He wants to take away choices. On the other end of the scale there are those don’t want the vaccine to be available. So that also eliminates the choice of doing a risk benefit analysis.

I did that analysis and in the early part or the pandemic I was at extreme risk of getting alpha or delta. The vaccine under EUA was a choice and made sense for me.

On the other hand, the disease is so benign at the moment I hardly even test for it. Really only if the family or patient asks. It doesn’t change my treatment plan to know or not known. I suppose once in a great while in a really immunosuppressives patient I will test a complete respiratory viral panel so I know what options I have to treat but this is such a small percentage it’s almost never.

What disturbs me is the total lack of American ingenuity and belief. We are the country that pulled off the Manhattan project. Even though the Bonn produced wasn’t perfect we still pulled it off. We sent someone to the moon after ceding a sizable lead to the Russians. And we beat them. I think this vaccine is the same story. It was not perfect. But it was helpful for alpha and delta. I suppose I still sort of believe Americans can pull off amazing miracles by the belief that we can.

We should have rugged freedoms to choose for ourselves. It’s why I support the right to try laws and even used them early on with ivermectin before I saw too many failures and had a superior option (monoclonal).

I think perhaps we agree on some things

Well done, GD, and very informative. Thank you for the thoughtful response.

Americans, for the most part, are getting better (healthwise), but our country is very sick indeed. Cheers!
