Putin’s war has devastated Ukraine. It has also changed Russia.

True. Putin’s dreams of controlling eastern Europe are dead.

When will you guys stop shoveling Russian propaganda on the rest of us. It’s boring and predictable, and doesn’t put you in a particularly good light.

This is for all of you Putin loving cretins who think Russia is winning.
————
One simple fact: Ukraine had a pre-war population of 39 million. Today it is 18 million……that doesn’t look like “ winning “.
They have effectively been depopulated, deenergized, deindustrialized, the eastern provinces devastated , their male 18-60 population decimated, mired in hundreds of billions in unpayable debt, a 100 percent WELFARE nation…..and you will have us believe that is winning?
You are funny.

It appears much closer to the stupidity of WWI
Zelensky should have given Putin Luhansk and Donetsk. But we know from WWII that appeasement does not work.
Cease fire means giving Russia something. Or it will be a war of attrition like WWI.

There is no journalism left in Russia, at least not the free and fair gathering of information that most would define as “journalism.” The goal of the Left here. A revealing article though.

You think that teenagers don’t serve in the military?

Everything except what you believe is propaganda. No... Unlike the zeepers here, I don't believe either side in this idiocy.

“estimates suggest as many as 200,000 Russian dead and wounded”
I stopped reading right there because I’m not a f’ing idiot.

I left Russia four years ago, but I still communicate regularly with friends, acquaintances, fellow journalists and my social media followers in Russia. Earlier this month, I asked them to share their impressions and perspectives on how their country has changed since the war began. Nearly 200 people answered via Facebook, WhatsApp and other platforms.
LOL I'm sure this is all highly accurate information.
But seriously, I honestly don't have any real idea of what is going on in Russia or the Ukraine. It's a riddle wrapped in a mystery inside an enigma. But one thing I am sure of is that our government are not the good guys.
