By now Soros must be aware his is the kiss of death to many folks opposed to him? I don’t trust this praise as any sort of complement made in good faith.

Soros’ backhanded praise of Desantis has absolutely no standing with me. What does have absolute standing with me is who is filling Desantis’ coffers. They are GOPe donors. Yeb!, Romney donors. This is made eminently clear by a simple analysis of publicly available FEC donor data.
Trump has all the right enemies. Desantis has all the wrong donors.
I don’t see his statements of fact as a “ringing endorsement.”
Shrewd and ruthless against the relentless woke machine are good things.

Soros is brilliant - he can get the right to divide and destroy ourselves without even spending any money due to platforms like this publication that are supposedly conservative going hook line and sinker for his trolling and using it to go scorched earth against their own side because that person isn’t their preferred candidate in a potential primary matchup.
